Billing questions
- What are the two ways to pay?
- Pay as you go costs nothing to be on and bills you per session, with the AI fee added only when your patient turns the AI on. A monthly plan costs one flat price and bills you nothing per session at all. You can move between them whenever you like and nothing about your patients, notes or history changes either way.
- When am I charged on pay as you go?
- When a session is marked complete. Your first one is free, and the invoice appears on your billing page immediately. You can pay several at once with a single link.
- What does the session rate actually include?
- The full session, live transcription, the SOAP note, the patient report and crisis alerts, plus the copilot questions about that patient shown on the cards above, for every session you run with them, and unused ones roll over. Only questions you ask count; the copilot's own answers and the notes it saves from a live session do not.
- What does a monthly plan include?
- Unlimited sessions and unlimited AI, with nothing charged per session. Everything on the pay-as-you-go list is included and not metered: transcription, notes, reports, crisis alerts and the copilot. Our share of what a patient pays you is a separate figure and does not change on a plan.
- Which one should I be on?
- Divide the monthly price by what one session with AI costs you on pay as you go. Above roughly that many sessions a month the plan is cheaper, below it pay as you go is. Both numbers are on the cards above. There is no penalty either way and nothing to commit to.
- What happens when I cancel a plan?
- Cancelling stops the next charge and nothing else. The plan runs to the date shown on your billing page, and after that you go back to pay as you go and are charged per session again. Nothing is deleted, nothing is locked, and every note, patient and recording stays exactly where it was.
- What if a renewal payment fails?
- You keep the plan for the month you have already paid for. We do not cut anything off mid-month over a card that expired. If it is still unpaid when that period ends, the account goes back to pay as you go and carries on working.
- What if a session was a mistake?
- Cancel it instead of completing it and nothing is charged.
- What do you take when a patient pays me?
- A share of what that session paid you, stated as a percentage on the pricing page, and nothing else. That is separate from what you pay us to use 24Therapy, whether that is per session or a month at a time. Where you have a Stripe account the money is charged straight into it and we never hold it. Where you do not, as in Egypt today, we collect it, hold it, and pay you out on request, and you can watch every step of that on your earnings page. You see exactly what you keep before you set a price.
- Can I pay my 24Therapy bill out of my earnings?
- Yes. When we are holding your earnings the session fee comes out of them automatically. If your patients pay straight into your own Stripe account, anything you owe can instead be settled out of the next payment rather than a card, never more than what that session would have paid you, and you can turn it off.
- What happens to credit I added and did not spend?
- Credit is money, not a number of sessions. It lasts as long as the pricing page says, it pays for session fees and AI fees alike, and it is always spent before your card is. It has nothing to do with which plan you are on and it is not needed on a monthly plan, where sessions cost you nothing.
